Weekly inspiration from Russia #7 – Sherp

No ATV series would be complete without SHERP. One of the most famous extreme ATVs out there, which also easy to buy in western countries, as the company has dealerships also in the US and Canada.

SHERP was one of the first to come with the “floating wheels” design. The special, low-pressure wheels that give this offroad kitty ability to stay afloat in the water and even swim at speed of 6 km/h (3.7 mph).

The tyres are low-pressure and share a unique system of interconnected air tanks, which are moving the air between wheels according to current need. When the pressure gets too high in one wheel, the air is distributed between the other three. Like Shatun Neo, it uses the exhaust gas, that can fill the wheels in 28 seconds.
